Carpets make for a more cosy and intimate result for flooring, whereas tiles open up a room and are also hugely helpful in spaces exposed to moisture. The options for hardwood flooring are vast, from pattern choices such as herringbone, to parquet, to the type of wood ranging from a light-coloured ash to a deep and rich mahogany.

In a luxurious living room, the light wood flooring creates an inviting and warm ambiance. Large windows adorned with cream curtains bathe the space in natural light, enhancing the bright and airy atmosphere. The focal point is the Grand Repos armchair and ottoman by Vitra, upholstered in sleek grey fabric, offering a comfortable and stylish seating option. A wood block triangular side table stands adjacent to the chair, providing a convenient surface for placing items. A tall green plant adds a touch of freshness and natural beauty, while a wooden ottoman. On the opposite wall, a meticulously designed home bar with dark wood joinery offers a sophisticated and elegant spot for enjoying drinks and entertaining guests.

This luxury living room emanates an inviting and contemporary ambiance. The light wood flooring sets the stage for an elegant space. The light wood joinery with built-in shelves serves as a stylish home bar, complete with a sleek countertop and carefully arranged liquor bottles.
