Playful yet Sophisticated Oceanside Interiors

Boasting an infinity pool, a home cinema and indoor gym, we brought a playful yet sophisticated interior design scheme to this expansive Thai villa. The luxury oceanside property epitomises indoor-outdoor living while showcasing the distinctive features of typical Thai architecture. In the villa’s main living area, the extremely high concave roof protects the structure from sun and rain while keeping the interior cool and ventilated – much needed in the tropical heat. Our clients were an expat family based in Singapore, who were keen to enjoy this luxury retreat as a place to come together and spend quality time with their loved ones.

Interiors Made for Entertaining with Sensational Sea Views

The multiple floor-to-ceiling windows gifted the sala and entertaining spaces with sensational sea views, which we enhanced through our pared-back approach to the interior design scheme. The sunken dining table in the sala boasts breathtaking views over the Andaman ocean. The relaxation and entertaining spaces within the holiday property also look out over an infinity pool. We selected iconic, specialist outdoor furniture from modern Spanish brand Gandiablasco for its suitability to the harsh environment of oceanfront living.

A Simple, Modern Kitchen

The kitchen is simple and bright, with modern appliances and a sleek white gloss and metallic finish. A breakfast bar with orange leather barstools from Bonaldo tie in with the colours used throughout the rest of this magnificent oceanside villa. The abundance of natural light afforded to the villa serves to accentuate these uplifting colours even further.

Mood-Lifting Bedrooms Which Work in Harmony with Nature

The bedrooms in this Thai oceanside property were kept neutral and uncomplicated. Stone, beige, light grey and soft yellow all came together seamlessly and served to decorate the room softly. The balcony with outdoor seating is where the real beauty lies; in nature. The relaxing bedroom interiors make it a calming getaway from the hustle and bustle of Singapore, where the clients typically reside.
